Chirpr and StumpMike have partnered to launch a complete digital fan experience built specifically for cricket tournaments, leagues, and clubs.
The partnership brings together Chirpr's live-event technology with StumpMike's cricket-native community platform, creating one official branded destination where fans can follow the competition, participate, and connect throughout the cricket experience.
One official destination for cricket fans
Cricket organizations already have broadcast partners, ticketing partners, sponsors, and social channels. But much of the digital fan experience still happens across disconnected destinations owned by third parties.
When a wicket falls, a chase tightens, or a match turns in a few deliveries, fans react immediately. Too often, that conversation, participation, sponsorship value, and first-party relationship happen somewhere other than the league, tournament, or club's own digital experience.
Chirpr and StumpMike are working together to change that.
The Cricket Fan Experience gives organizations a complete branded digital product built around the competition itself. Fans can follow matches, scores, fixtures, standings, teams, and players while participating in predictions, receiving alerts, interacting with sponsor experiences, and joining cricket-native community without leaving the official experience.
Two technologies, one fan experience
Chirpr powers the live-event infrastructure behind the product, including Match Centre, scores, fixtures, standings, teams, players, predictions, alerts, sponsor moments, and the operator tools used to manage the experience.
The platform is designed for the formats cricket organizations use today, including T20, the 100-ball game, ODI, Test, and T10, with support for 25 languages.
StumpMike brings a community experience designed specifically around cricket. Live rooms can exist at the competition level and around individual matches and teams, giving fans places to talk about cricket in the context where the conversation belongs.
Together, the technologies create a single official destination rather than another disconnected fan tool.
Built for the organization's brand
The Cricket Fan Experience is not a separate consumer destination that asks organizations to send their audiences somewhere else. It is delivered as a branded digital experience for the tournament, league, or club.
The organization remains at the center of the relationship with its fans while Chirpr and StumpMike provide the technology behind the experience.
"We're not asking cricket organizations to send their fans to another platform," said Brian Albert, CEO of Chirpr. "The opportunity is to make the tournament, league, or club's own digital product the place where fans follow the competition, participate, and talk about what is happening. Chirpr and StumpMike bring the technology together so the organization can offer that complete experience under its own brand."
Taking the platform to cricket organizations
Brett Stern is working with Chirpr and StumpMike on the commercial side of the partnership, bringing the platform to cricket boards, leagues, tournaments, and clubs.
The goal is to give cricket organizations an alternative to assembling separate products for scores, community, participation, alerts, sponsorship, and other parts of the digital fan journey.
Instead, the Cricket Fan Experience brings those capabilities together in one product designed around cricket from the start.
The platform is built and configurable for cricket today.
